Who we Are

Christ’s Chapel Bible Church (CCBC) is a friendly place where people of all nationalities and age groups feel welcome, accepted and respected. In this church home families grow, worship and serve God together. Christ’s Chapel Bible Church has been a lighthouse for the gospel in Canada’s capital City of Ottawa since 1996.

Our History

Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, on June 2, 1996, Bishop Jacob Afolabi, his wife Elizabeth and 10 persons (7 adults and 5 children) gathered at 121 Princess Louise Drive, Orleans, Ont. Canada (home of Sis. Rhona Albert) for the first worship service. On that day Christ’s Chapel Bible Church was born!! Within 18 months the church moved to the Partyroom in Beaconwood and 2 years later, as the congregation increased, a move was made to the Roy G. Hobbs Community Center in Orleans.

In May, 2005 Bishop Afolabi received the keys to the purchased current home of Christ’s Chapel at 2285 St. Laurent Blvd, Building “A” Unit 7.
